♥ Terrorist hunter uses web as weapon. ♥ This morning I had read about a woman who was a former judge. She was a former judge in Montana. FBI consider her who is now an ex-judge an intelligent asset. She works for the FBI now. The former judge goes online and strikes conversations with REAL terrorist. And sees pretends that she is a terrorist herself and she plays the part to catch people in there act of crime. There were charges pressed against a young man that had agreed to help her or assist her in the crime of blowing up the U.S pipelines and refineries. As soon as she found out about that she had turned him in right away. I think that this article was interesting, because the former judge gets away with it. And she’s undercover. I liked it. <3
They now have a lot of undercover agents. not cute at alll. :/
♥ San Diego Union Tribune ♥ Congress Sets Goal of Scanning Cargo Ships ♥ Yesterday in Washington, Law makers agreed to a goal of scanning all cargo containing ships before they leave foreign ports as Congress neared a deal on a major security bill to carry out the 9/11 Commission’s recommendations. Supporters said the measure was crucial to prevent the catastrophe of a ship entering a United States port with a nuclear device. Opponents said a risk-based approach taken in a port security bill passed last year was more effective. Negotiators also accepted House language that requires the inspection of all cargo on passenger planes within three years. Formal negotiations were put off for months over issues such as White House opposition to provisions, since dropped, that would have given airport screeners collective bargaining rights. ♥ This article was boring and I did not enjoy reading it at all but I did learn something new.
Body of man found in nose gear when airplane arrives from China.
In San Francisco, a man was found inside the nose gear of an airplane, trying to sneak into the country. The man was asian and around 50 years old. Investigators believe he died from no oxygen, the weight from the other bags, and the temperature he was in. The plane arrived from Shanghai at 7:42 am. about 75 stowaway attempts on 65 flights worldwide have happened since 1947. 59 of them ended in death. All of them have either gotten crushed, froze or fell and ended it in their death. The temperature is below 40 degree's for over 12 hours, its impossible to survive the dangerous flight. Everyone who has survived it were sent back to their original country.
It is a shame how some people are crazy enough to risk their lives to go to another country. I don't understand how they don't get caught going into the bag area. There are supposed to secure the planes with efficiency ever since 9-11 happened. There should never be a time where people can sneak onto a plane like that. They could be terrorists.
In Beijing, China, its economy accelerated in the second quarter. This is the fastest it’s been since 1995, driven by surging exports and investment. In response, the government said it will take new step to control the boom. The economy expanded by 11.9 percent in the April-June quarter. Consumer prices increased 4.4 percent in June. Communist leaders want fast growth to reduce poverty but are trying to cool some industries. China’s surplus in June was $26.9 billion, up more than 85 percent from the same month in 2006. That pushed the total surplus for the first half of the year to $112.5 billion.
I agree with this article because it is saying that China is trying to over-expand the country and it’s not working. There’s now too much pressure on the economy. I think that this should be put to an end before there’s too much overcrowding.
It should happen to where there is a limit to how much land you can occupy.
Today I chose to read an article titled the great impression. This article was about this new kind of therapy that doesn't involve a therapist and does not charge you $100 dollars an hour. There is now a gallery in Beverly hills. This is no ordinary gallery this gallery can help people release feelings and stress without the therapist. What they do there is that they have rooms for people to go in and in every room there is a big screen and a movie playing. In every room there is a film playing according to your situation. There is a they call the crying room they provide Kleenex and a set pf head phone so you can hear the movie. You will end up leaving the exhibit in tears. There are also other rooms there is a room for addicts and the film was specially created to get in touch with every person that views the film. and in every room they make it seem as though you are in your own home they have couches . I thought that that was a very great idea that they had opening up a therapeutic exhibit to help people. I feel that this exhibit will help many people I think that this will be a very popular exhibit.
This morning I read an article titled 4 men with shaved heads rob store, attack manager. The robbery occurred about 11:15 on Wednesday night on East Palomar street close to Oleander Avenue. The men assaulted a Ralph's manager after being stopped for shoplifting. They then stole two 12-packs of beer. One of the men kicked the manager and tried to grab a customer, who used a trash can to ward off the attacker. Another robber had a large flashlight that he threatened to use as a weapon. The four bald men got into a green vehicle with primer gray patches and drove away. I thought the most interesting fact was that they didn’t give a good description of the men other than that they were bald. The other article I read was titled Parolee arrested after drugs found on property. After a routine search of the mans house, police discovered illegal drugs and a large amount of cash. On South Anza Street near Main street in El Cajon, police arrested a 40- year-old parolee for violating his parole. They seized 30 marijuana plants, 2 ounces of methamphetamine and $2,700 in cash. I thought the most interesting fact was that he kept all that paraphernalia in his house, especially if the police search his house routinely.
Two days after Michael Vick was indicted on federal dog fighting charges, Nike said it suspended the release of the “Zoom Vick V shoe”. His kicks were scheduled to hit retail stores next month. Nike is concerned by the serious and highly disturbing allegations against Vick and considers any cruelty to animals inhumane and abhorrent. Vick has had an endorsement deal with Nike since entering the NFL in 2001, Nike said they aren't terminating the contract. The company does not plan to pull other shoes and shirts bearing Vick’s name from the market. I thought it was interesting how some dude said “I am confident that the hottest places in hell are reserved for the souls of sick and brutal people who hold God’s creatures in such brutal and cruel contempt. “Who are the real animals: the creatures inside or outside the ring?”.$$$
Suicide Bomb kills 34 Pakistani forces near Afghan border. In Islamabad, Pakistan two suicide bombings killed at leas 34 Pakistan soldiers and security personnel. Yesterday a car bomber attacked a military convoy killing at least 24 soldier as thousand of troops deployed to thwart a call form and antigovernment holy war. the second suicide car bomber struck a convoy of army and paramilitary troops early today in swat. More than 10 security personnel were killed. Troops opened fire after the attack and gun battle was continuing. Twenty nine troops were wounded in yesterdays attack in North Waziristan. It is one of the deadliest suicide bombing in Pakistan resent months. Although no one could claim responsibility for the suicide attack they could not rule out the possibility that tit was reaction to the assault on the mosque. I think that what is happening is terrible. I think that many innocent people are dying and that is not fair. I believe that if those people don’t care about dying then bomb themselves and others that don’t care and leave innocent people alone.
