Horoscopes
Today I also read about the horoscopes. I was born on august 11 so I am a Leo. In it, it said that I am inspiring. It said that not only because I preach what I know but because I live it. It also says that with my silent example I encourage empty minds to trade themselves in for open ones. I think this means that I motivate other people to change.
I enjoy reading my horoscope for a morning blog.
One thing that I learned is that other people are influenced by what I do and look up to me

Title: Wrestler and the killing of his Family
a tragedy story about a WWE wrestler who everyone looked up to and admired for his entertainment fighting on stage. Shocking to hear that wrestler Chris Benoit aka “ The Canadian Crippler ” committed suicide after he killed his wife and son. This was said to have happen on Saturday when he had canceled a flight to Texas for a wrestling match. Chris had called a co-worker of his and stated that his wife and son were sick of food poisoning and wasn’t going to be able to make it to the match. Co-worker says, Benoit sounded tired in his phone call. So the co-worker scheduled him for a pay per view performance but had also canceled that on Sunday. The wrestlers was said to have sent text messages to his co-worker about something with checking up on his house. When they went over shockingly they fought Chris body that he had hung himself and his wife and seven yr. old sun. Authorities have said that they found steroids in Benoit’s house one of their suspicions maybe why this terrible thing was caused. I believe that this is also a very shocking story because it’s a trip how he could of killed his family who he seemed to have great big love for them. I bet after he had killed them he realized what he had done so he killed himself. R.i.P to his wife and son and himself only two know the truth behind this mysterious story.

FLOODWATERS RECEDING FOR SOME; TEXAS BRACES FOR ADDITIONAL RAIN

An estimated 1,000 homes in Texas have been severely damaged of destroyed since late May. Experts say additional rain could cause flash flooding and that wouldn’t be safe for all the river ways and streams that are already full. They say that this type of event is “unprecedented,” and that most of this year they should be focused on wild fires. The problem is that the water won’t go away. Jack Colley, chief of the Texas Division of Emergency Management, said that this is the first time the basins are at flooding stage since 1957. The damaged areas cover 49 counties and 48,000 sq. miles from North Texas to the Rio Grande Valley. Residents inquire that they lost everything from this disaster.
I think this is an unfortunate event for all the people involved. The best way to take yourself out of this situation is to think of all the possible conditions of weather in your new residence before you take the actions to settle into your new home. I also think that practicing plans to evacuate your own home in case of an emergency would have brought this disaster to a lower level of catastrophic measures.

This morning I read an article about a suspicious package found outside a National Guard armory in Linda Vista yesterday morning. Officials used a robot with a water cannon to establish if it contained anything risky. All they found inside was paper. The occurrence began soon after 8:30 am when a guard spotted the 8 ½-by-11-inch, white box with olive-green tape. The guard reported to a colonel, who had authorities notified. This prompted San Diego police to close streets near the armory, behind Kearny High School on Mesa College drive. I though the most interesting fact was that they used a water cannon to examine the box.

In an article entitled Counting on Chichen Itza inside the San Diego Union Tribune. They discussed an election to vote for a new set of 7 wonders of the world. ON the list was Chichen Itza a Mexican Pyramid. The fact that this particular pyramid was on the list brought about support from Mexico as add campaigns were set in several major cities. The adds consisted of large posters of the pyramid and a scale model with a voting computer near by. Coca cola has also tried creating some a commotion by urging people to vote for the & wonders by posting voting adds on the cans of its product. Mexico has been really supportive of Chichen Itza hoping that if it does make it to the list that it will generate truism meaning more jobs and better health care. Even if one of the competitors losses it has its name out there now and it will generate more truism any ways.
I think that it is time to vote for new wonders because the world has shrunk in size and the more wonder of the ancient world stand out. As for the modern achievements they have enough recognition and I think they shouldn’t compete in the same category of those that used technology beyond their time as opposed to the technology of the time. But who know people 2,200 years form now people might be impressed with our use of primitive technology then I do believe that that I can compete.

Public Eye : Snoop Wants To Be An Aussie
Snoop Dogg was denied entry to Australia because of his gang ties and criminal records. Immigration minister Kevin Andrews was quoted in April as saying, “Snoop has a whole string of convictions. He doesn’t seem the sort of bloke we want in this country.” Snoop Dogg is trying to overcome the government’s banning of his April concert tour there by lobbying to become an Australian citizen. The ex-cocaine dealer and street hustler turned gangsta-rap and TV star isn’t taking his lying down in his crib. On Snoop’s MySpace it already says, “They gotta let me in because I already put a down payment on my house down there.. I’m movin’ to yo’ hood.” Whther or not Snoop is serious, we do not know but whoever wishes to support him can sign his petition on his MySpace page.

Teens help save kids in burning apartment.

This article is about several teens saving a couple of sleeping kids from their burning apartment house. The teenagers say they were sitting on the stairs below the apartment around 12:30 a.m. when they smelled smoke and were told the second floor was on fire. The three teenagers Shaquita 18, Tony 15, and Jeremy 14, could only think of getting the kids. Each one grabbed a child and the mother of the children ran out safe also. The fire was set by one of the children playing with a lighter. I think its a shame how children can easily start fires, and the homes of little children ages 5 and under arent safe enough for them to live in. You would think that a child would be able to live without playing with a lighter, but they will play with anything, and anything could be dangerous to them. I think this is a fine lesson of making your house safer to the lives of the younger ones on your house.

FDA faster; lawmakers will decided if it’s better.

In Washington, the drug Vioxx, Ketek, and Avandia are making long shadows over the debate on how to update and revise the 15-year old system that spend up the process of bringing prescription medicines to American consumers. The 3 drugs ran into problems after the Food and Drug Administration approved them for use. Vioxx caused thousands of heat attacks. The antibiotic Ketek caused liver failure. The hazards of the diabetes drug Avandia is barely emerging now. The Prescription Drug User Fee Act, will better identify the “unexpected toxicities” in drugs that have reached medicine cabinets. The act’s chief purpose when it was passed in 1992 was to help drugs get through FDA review quicker and out to patients sooner. Congress is debating on re-authorizing the user-fee law, it is considering several proposals that would raise the fees and devote a larger portion of them to “post-market surveillance”. The research agency wants to collect $393 million next year, which is $87 million more than this year. In April, the Senate passed a huge FDA-related bill that included a reauthorization of the user fees for five more years.

Sentence Reflection:
I don’t think that it’s fair to give patients medication not notifying them about the side affects.
