Today I am reading a story about the new uniforms for The Hard Rock Hotel. These new uniforms combine fashion with function. Owners of hotels are searching for something different, something that can make their hotels and their employees stand out. At a Ivy Hotel in downtown San Diego a couture designer has created more than 30 uniforms for their employees. Some of these uniforms include some skin showing lacy dresses for cocktail waitresses. Owners at the Hard Rock Hotel have enlisted their unique designers for employee apparel. Will.i.am from the Black Eyed Peas and Lor-e Phillips have collaborated on 27 uniforms. The uniforms will also be worn at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Biloxi, Miss. Some male employees will wear black pinstripe pants, shirts with pinstripe detail and fedoras. I think that this is very interesting. I think that this is a very good way to make money. I believe that the employees are going to be very happy because usually the uniforms are ugly. Now they are going to be fashionable and they are getting paid for it.

Former first lady promoted environmentalism
Lady Bird Johnson, the widow of President Lyndon B. Johnson, died yesterday. Johnson was in the hospital for a week last month with a low-grade fever. She died of natural causes, a family spokesman said. Her press secretary, Liz Carpenter, once wrote that “if President Johnson was the long arm, Lady Bird Johnson's was the gentle hand.” As first lady, she was the best known environmentalist. She wanted roadside, billboards, and junkyards replaced with trees and wildflowers. The former first lady was known for her temper. “I think it might be better to blow up sometimes,” she had said.
I hope that she died peacefully in her home, they way she would have wanted to go. I think that this woman should be remembered for what she has done with the environment and her preservation acts. I agree with everyone that has commented about this woman because she obviously was a very important person. She died at age 94, leaving a family and many friends.

+ Current Events: Does Your Partner Cheat With Netflix?
+ This morning I read an article on Netflix and how watching movies without your partner could be considered cheating. Kurt Rieschick can't stop cheating on his girlfriend. He know it's wrong, but sometimes Julie works odd hours and those red envelopes are too tempting. So, occasionally Rieschick sneaks in to the media room to break a relationship commandment of the 21th century: Thou Shalt Not Netflix Without Me.Adam Cuthbert, confessed Netflix cheater, blames his infidelities on his girlfriend's disparate Netflix drives. Of course it's a big deal to watch a movie over again because it's not like watching it with new eyes. The big deal is that "Norbit" is only funny the first time and "Saw 3" is only scary the first time. The big deal is movie virginity.
+ The most interesting thing I read about were a few rules to go by if you're trying to decide to watch something alone. Also, the most forgivable transgression is watching something that you know your partner does not want to see.
The highest level of cheating is when you willfully break a specific and long-standing viewing agreement. Last, a special circle of hell is reserved for those who watch directors' cuts alone because most couple have set their own rules for that.
"His wild party life had some deadly outcomes"
Count Gottfried von bismark was known for his wild parties, drug use, and sexual shenanigans. He died in his 10 million dollar apartment in London's Chelsea district on Monday. Bismark had been treated for epilepsy when he was younger. He threw the best parties. He was a member of the Bullingdon Club, and the Piers Gaveston Society - A 12 member club who are known for their drunkness and sexual outcomes. In 1986 Olivia Channon, the 22 year old daughter of a Conservative government minister, died of a drug overdose during one of Bismarcks parties, in his bed. Bismarck however, was not in his bed at the time, but he was sent to trial about the death of her. Many say he had put a disgrace to his families name. Bismarck settled in London to stay away from the media and get his mind straight. Bismarck then, threw another party which lead to the death of 38 year old Anthony Casey. Casey fell off the roof garden of one of Bismarcks parties. The dead was said to be an accident and no one was to blame.
This article gave off information about how Bismarck is apparently leading a few people to their deaths. Bismarck is known for his drug-use and he is throwing the parties, so he should be responsible for whatever happens to anyone at his parties. Bismarck should recieve some type of punishment for letting things get out of hand like that, there should never be death in a party.
The article I read was titled good dogs pitch in to benefit a good cause. This article was about a fundraiser to raise money for the 19th annual fundraiser of the Helen Woodward animal center. many people brought along there dogs. they attracted a crowd of 450 people. there fundraiser was a big hit they raised about $287.000. in all for the Woodward animal shelter. there was a lot of generous downers there . Alicia and Craig Bernard were two of them the donated a 2007 jeep wrangler x and it was sold for $16,000 dollars the money went toward the fund .62 out of the 450 guests managed to donate $34,950 . The animal shelter raised a great deal of money to help those animals in need.
I thought that was a very generous and kind thing that the people were doing to help the animals.
I felt that there could have bin more donors there were 62 donors out of the 450 people.
I think that that with that money allot of sick pets will be able to get the medical attention that they need.

This morning the first article I read was titled Many Lake Tahoe homes built in fire danger zones. In South Lake Tahoe four out of five homes built since 1990 are in areas considered to have a high fire hazard. Less than a week ago a fire ruined more than 254 homes and caused more than $141 million dollars in property damage. About 80% of Tahoe-area homes built in the past 17 years , sit near highly combustible state and national forests The same problem is evident in California as homes intrude on backwoods. From 2001 -2006, approximately 7,200 homes were destroyed by wildfires in the state. That is 250% more than the 2,050 homes destroyed from1996-2000. At Lake Tahoe, Land managers can decline a proposed home in it is too tall or will cause erosion into the prominent emerald–colored water. Although, no homes are being turned down for being too close to fire zones. The Tahoe Regional Planning Agency regulates progress but states it cannot stop production, because most of the lots being built were approved by local governments in the 1950’s and 1960’s, when the fire risk was less insistent. I thought the most interesting fact was that they're not doing something to resolve this problem, especially after the recent fire destroyed 254 homes.

Article: Morning-after pill sales double in a year
There will be a new increasing price for the women’s after pill. Since last August, Food & Drug Administration have now switched the pill to be used over age of 18 years. Reason being that researchers have now seemed to believe that the morning-after pill is risking health for women. Women’s health & family planning say this is a better solution to make this easy-access of the pill a bit more difficult for women to prevent unwanted pregnancies. Washington University School of Public Health says, this new plan is well desired among the university. But many others are disagreeing & trying to sue the FDA. I also agree that this is a better idea, because if women really don’t want to get pregnant, and can’t accept the responsibilities that come with it then they shouldn't have sex. Because sex isn’t only about pleasure what many believe (including myself) but it takes one’s live at risk of catching some kind of HIV/STD, or getting pregnant. What I’ve learned that may seem like the best result to take a morning-after pill for an emergency but it can also cause to be dangerous to yourself
