RADICAL ACTIVIST IMPRISONED
Jonathan Paul was sentenced and imprisioned after pleading gulity.
Jonathan was part of a radical environmental group co nvicted of arson. This means that he and other 10 were convicted of a burning down of private property.The crime was commited in 1997. They burned down a horse slaughterhouse. Paul pleaded guilty and I can just image he was proud of it.

▫ 2 Charged in deaths of 3 college students
▫ This morning I read an article on a 28 year old man in New Jersey and a teenage boy were charged yesterday in the execution-style schoolyard killings of three college students and the wounding of a fourth, a crime that has outraged this violent city. The arrests came within hours of each other, with police taking the 15 year old boy into custody Wednesday night and with the man, Jose Carranze, surrendering to the mayor yesterday was then arrested.
▫ The most interesting part was that it was young guy who just decided to mess up his life when he still had so much living to do. (oh well..)
This morning I read an article titled Motorcyclist pursued by CHP dies after crashing. In lemon Grove, California Highway Patrol spotted the rider of a yellow Suzuki GSXR 750 speeding and merging on southbound Interstate 5 to eastbound state route 94 at about 6:45 p.m. the officer signaled the rider to pull over near the College Avenue exit, but then the motorcyclist sped up. He reached speeds of up to 100 miles per hour. He suddenly swerved from the left lane to the right and then took the Massachusetts Avenue. The rider didn’t make the sharp turn and he slammed into the guard rail. He was thrown off the bike and pronounced dead at the scene. I thought the most interesting fact was that they ran from the Highway Patrol. If your going to run you should be smooth enough to get away.

Today in the newspaper I read the horoscopes. In the newspaper horoscopes it says that tempting offers are dangled before my nose likely of a financial nature. It says to use my moral compass along with my business sense. Better to lose my money and save my soul. And in the yahoo horoscope it says I might let someone else take the glory, but most people in the know realize that you deserve at least some of the credit. There's no need to worry about losing any points in anyone's book.
I think that these horoscopes are getting pretty boring and that they aren’t making sense and besides they don’t match so don’t know if I should believe in them.
One interesting thing that I learned is that it said that I should Unleash your naturally warm nature today, and you'll be greeted with bright smiles.
Start with Yourself
This research is looked upon many people who suffer from depression due to loneliness. What they have to do is learn to love themselves. The words from the poem, where words that were written on an Anglican Bishop tomb, from the Crypts of Westminster Abbey. It talked something about how he when he was young, he had a dream that he wanted to change the world. And as he would past his years growing older he discovered that the world would not change. So instead, he decided that he only wanted to change his country. But later as he realized, he noticed too, that its was something too incapable to do. But as one of the last desperate attempts , he settled to only change his family. But once he was already in his deathbed, he finally came to a conclusion. If only he would of started out by changing himself first. Then his family would see that he was trying to accomplish in becoming a better person. And then maybe his family would be inspired and then it would have been easier to change them. One thing I liked about this story was that, this person seemed to have a great heart. And from this poem it seems to me that he wanted something better for his people. One thing I learned was that before you decide on making any changes, you have to start out with yourself, and if you want to help out others you need to help out yourself first as well.
Probe leads to arrest of 13 members of two gangs.
13 gang members, 12 adults, and one minor, were taken into custody because they are believed to have been part of the killing of a police officer in Oceanside. The gang members were also suspects of selling Methamphetamine and Cocaine. The FBI and DEA brought out 5 search warrents to search the neighborhoods of Oceanside. Neighborhoods that were searched were Arthur Ave, Eastside, and Mid-Valley. Two members that pleaded not guilty, and were part of the Samoan gang, were charged as adults anyways. Their next court date will be Aug. 17. All were arrested in homes of Mesa Margarita. Other officers miss Officer Dan Bessant. He was killed assisting another officer at a traffic stop.
I think its sad how they aren't sure who did it, suspect people of doing it, and arrest them because of their backgrounds. If anything, they can not be convicted of murder if there is no proof, they can most likely be charged for the drugs, if any found.
MARKET FEARS SPREAD FROM U.S. TO EUROPE
Disappointment in the home loan market ricocheted from the United States to Europe yesterday. It came back again yesterday as stocks on Wall Street suffered their second-worst decline of the year. The cause was big losses on packages of U.S. home loan securities sold to investors. They turned up in French and Dutch banks yesterday. There were worries around the globe at hedge funds and financial institutions. With trillions of dollars of securities outstanding, those announcements raised expectations of more problems. After the market closed, Countrywide Financial said the debt markets were “experiencing unprecedented disruptions.” On Wall Street, the Dow Jones industrial average fell 387.18 points, or 2.8 percent.
I think that this didn’t need to happen and it could have been avoided. This is all due to people that weren’t doing their job. I agree with the newspaper because it also says that our economy is strong.

This morning i read an article that was about bodies that were retrieved from the Mississippi after the Minn. bridge wreckage. That now brings them up to the death toll of seven people. Investigators and other important people still believe that there is at least 8 more people out there.Including parents with their children, possibly dead or alive.
Many families and friends of the people the were lost are very disappointed and will miss them terribly.
I liked reading this article,
because im happy that they are finding more bodies but it is still sad because they are dead.
Man in a stolen Car leads Police in a wild chase.
Today I have read a small article about a nineteen year old man, Nicholas Harris is his name. He was in Scripps Ranch Hospital in Encinitas being treated for a wound in his leg. Out of nowhere he jumped into a ambulance and drove of. Officers spotted him around 12:30 am tried to stop him but he wouldn’t. He drove thru streets on speed of about 60 mph. At one point he rammed a sheriff deputy’s parole car. At one point he drove over a spike strip which flattened at least one of the tires. He was swerving sometimes into the oncoming traffic and kept turning his lights on and off. The man then ended up in Avenida Arroyo Pasajero, where he crashed into eucalyptus trees just after 1:00 am. One of the officers was hurt trying to put the spike strip on the street. The other was hurt when the ambulance rammed his car. I think that this is so ridiculous how can someone be so dumb to do something like this. I think that he was probably on drugs or something like that.
