♥ Union Tribune ♥ Computer Glitch Strands Thousands at L.A. Airport ♥ This morning i read an article about the Los Angeles airport Saturday afternoon. About 6,000 international passengers were starnded for as long as six hours yesterday because a computer failure prevented them from passing through customs. The passengers were stranded in four airport terminals and in 24 planes starting about 1:30 p.m. because of a breakdown in the computer system. The system contained the names of arriving passengers and law enforcement data about them, including arrest warrants. Some of the computers were functioning again by 9:15 p.m. and after that authorities starting slowly loading passengers. The cause of the shutdown was unknown, and there was no estimate on when the system would be repaired. ♥ I always loved traveling on airplanes but this incident is one of the many one could face when choosing to travel on plane. =(
once street art was considered a form of vandalism. Many artists were true to their character and stuck out the indifference and kept doing their thing. Their passion for their arts could be displayed by watching how they stealthily went out in the middle of the night to fill the city with their signature. They were true to themselves and their art and they did not care if caught by police because their art was their law. They were making statements and creating a cultural movement such as the one created by Shepard Fairey in the 1990's. He was the leader and creator of the "OBEY" posters the ones in which the late wrestler Andre the Giant is depicted. The poster satirizes the idea of questioning authority. Yet it is remarkable that today all that guerilla art stood for is being striped away. Guerilla art was a form of rebelling against the set society’s standards but now it has become contaminated by the media. Now, it has all changed, companies have been using this method to infiltrate their marketing and pass it as art. The line between marketing and authentic art has blurred and one cannot really distinguish the difference. Real artist those who have not been bought off into CORPORATYE AMERICA are really struggling with keeping their true art afloat among all the plastic “art”.
The San Diego union tribune In the newspaper today I read about the classic Chevy. It was about a guy named Ken Willers and his ’57 Bel Air. It says that he bought it from a Nebraska man for $8500 in 2001. he says that he has spent $64000 rebuilding it from the chassis up. “when I started into this I had no idea the attention this car would get”. The color is a tropical turquoise and India ivory. The ’57 Bel Air is the most popular thing General Motors ever built. It says that it is the chrome and fins is the reason why its most popular. In 1957 the price of a new Chevrolet started around $2300. now in 2007 the price of a 1957 Chevrolet can range from $15000 to $95000. ken willers 1957 Chevy bel air is now 50 years old and is worth around 73000 dollars. In the license plate for the car is LK MY 57 which I think stands for do you like my 57. I think that this is a pretty interesting article. I am pretty interested in classic cars like this one and admire the fact that people still pay attention to these cars. One interesting thing that I learned is that now after 50 years a 57 Chevy can cost up to 95000 dollars (wow).
Two siblings were accused of killing their step father for his money. His name was Timothy Mcneil. He was a lawyer in La Mesa and usually worked cases in El Cajon. Timothy Mcneil lived a hard life for relationships. His first relationship, he was married and had two daughters, but one daughter died her first week after birth. His wife then died from Cancer, and the second daughter now lives in Salem. Timothy then started another relationship with a woman named Doreen. They married and quickly moved in with each other. Doreen already had two children. Brae and Nathaniel. Doreen had a history of alcoholism and depression. She was a teacher at Monte Vista High School. Doreen and her husband had an arguement and Tim rented a hotel for the night to avoid an arguement. Doreen said she was going to kill herself and called her children, which were now in Arizona with other family members. Doreen wished to speak to her daughter before she would kill herself. Nathaniel said that Brae was sleeping and that she would call her back. The next day, Timothy shows back up to the house and his wife is laying in his office dead. A little while later, after the death. Brae and Nathaniel plan to kill their step father and made it look like a murder scene by tying themselves up. Brae had gotten the story so mixed up that she accidently said Nathans name during questioning. They are both going to trial for murder.
This story caught my eye because i saw the line two children plot to kill their step dad. As i read on, i realized that this story goes along with one of the teachers that taught at my old school. Mrs. Mcneil committed suicide and the whole school was talking about how she took pills after her daughter left her to arizona. I guess the story was mixed up because she did it while her husband left her to another hotel. I see how many terrible things went on and that was not the end of the story that i heard. Just recently, the children of hers, kill their step dad for his money. It shocks me because the teacher that taught at my old school, was married to this lawyer, and those were her children.
J.LO could see $545,000 New controversy has started between Ojani Noa Jennifer Lopez’s first husband. He claims to publish a book where he will speak everything about their past relationship. Including some affairs Noa states Lopez had meanwhile their relationship. Jennifer Lopez has now decided to file a law suit against her ex-husband, of nearly about $545,000 against him. But Noa has now violated a previous law suit prohibiting him to speak of his related events with the actress/singer. Another decision has also been chosen to a permanent injunction restricting to critical comments, or any negative light, causing any type of scandal to Jennifer. Settlement case has been closed, and judge of the case has been asked to present the sentences. There has been a scheduled hearing on September 5 for both Ojani Noa and Jennifer Lopez to attend. I think it is ridiculous that people who date famous people or know them always try to come up with something to spill the famous’ beans. There always has to be some kind of gossip about everything I think it is very unfair.
-----------♥ This morning i read an article on a death of a lawyer. In which where siblings accused in fatal shooting of the lawyer/their stepfather. The daughter and Son. Brea, and Nathaniel were accused of the killing so they can inherit the money that would come along, just around 2.3 million dollars. The lawyers death had came 13 months after his wife's death, in which she had committed suicide with allergies pills. She swallowed a whole thing of allergies pills. They said that she had some depression problems and has been suicidal before but the attempts had failed. The family members of the lawyer that was "killed in a Robbery" are extremely upset. Especially the lawyers only brother.

I think that this article was depressing, because i dont know what i would do if i was to loose my little brother. OH HECKK NOO TECHN000 BUNNY!! id go crazy.. SERIOUSLYY. ://
The article that I read this morning was titled Chevy still admired after all these years. this article was mainly about a man named ken Willers who bought a 57 Chevy bel air. Willers purchased the car for about $8000 dollars but when he purchased the car it was in very bad shape. The last owner burned out the motor and ruined the paint job. Willers had to rebuild it from the ground up. After willer was finally finished with his 57 Chevy he left it looking brand new . He invested at least $64000 dollars in that car. the car was painted a shiny turquoise blue it was chromed out . And had fins in the front of the car. willers got allot of attention when driving this car he said he even had some one cry once just by looking at it .at a car show.\ I think that willers car is so a some I feel that he will get allot of attention from this car.
