SAVE THE LIONS!!

It is an african custom that once a predatory animal kills one of your livestock the owner of the livestock such as a cow or a goat is expected to go out find the animal and kill it. If you do not kill the animal such as a lion or a leopard that killed your livestock you would not be a man. Now awareness is being raised in the sake of endagered species and on the brink of endagered species such as the lions.Massai tribesman Noah Ntiati is part of an awareness alert group from Kenya that has come to San Diego in order to speak out and fight for the lives of many lions. People usually chose to protect species that are pacific and tranquil and they tend to forget about predatory animals. But its is imperious that actions be takien before this race becomes nonexistent. Now thanks to efforts being made a protection fund has been made for the lions sake.

Google’s watching streets of San Diego
Google has a new thing for it web site, that has thousands of viewers on the internet. Now people who logon to Google can view images of the streets including here in San Diego, street of New York, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Miami, Denver, Los Angeles, Houston, and in Orlando as well. Shots have been taken of popular places of San Diego as a Street View in the future to look back at what San Diego and other places where once like. Some of the pictures taken may consists of a women laying naked on the beach, or a man smoking a cigarette after he promised his wife he would quit, says the Google photographer. There have been little complaints on this such issue. But one lady resident of the Bay area has stated that where can the line exactly cross between taking photographs and invading people lives and privacy. This can be in fact true maybe the photographers are going to overboard by taking pictures of houses with people through their windows. Maybe there should be a border of what they are allowed to take pictures of and what they should leave out of the photos.

6 members of family die in house fire.

This morning I had read an article on a fire that had broke out in a home without smoke detectors. The fire had killed 6 people. Only the father was left surviving the horrible accident. He was left with several injuries. All the victims were found on the second floor. The father had thought that his family was alreayd out of the house and safe. But when he was out of the house and in the hospital he was inform that his family was gone. They were all found to be dead.
I think this article was sad because this could of been prevented if only if only they had a smoke detector alarm. The father should now put smoke detectors in his new home that he will have.

Fossils put new spin on mankind's Evolution.

Two new fossils have been found in Kenya. The new fossils put clues in the human family free. These two fossils may rearrange the major branches thought to be the ancestral line to Homo Sapiens. One fossil was a 1.44 million year old Homo Erectus, and the other was a 1.55 Homo Erectus. Researchers say the two fossils did not evolve one after they other, instead, they lived side by side in eastern Africa for almost half a million years. If this theory is proven fact, then the whole evolution of Homo Sapiens will be cloudy as ever, and basically start back from scratch again. The two fossils were found on Lake Turkana in Kenya, in the year of 2000. It has taken years for them to determine the age, and the specimens. Researchers say that there may have been an overlap between the species Habilis and the Erectus. Researchers also believe that the Homo Erectus' reproduced with mutiple partners.

I think its amazing that they've found more information on the human evolution. It may have taken many different mixes with the Homo eretus to create a human like myself.

+ Union Tribune
+ Surf Statue Draws A Wave of Criticism
+ This morning I read an article on surfers who panned the Beach Boys. The surfers trashed the surf movie, "Point Break." They criticize just about everything that anybody treid to do when it comes to highlighting or celebrating surfing. Real life surfers say that the statue does not represent them at all because it's not even a surf move. Real surfers feel that the statue does not accurately portray a surfer. Other people say that surfers are just being ridiculous, that even if it was a bigger statue, capturing the hardest surf move, surfers would still find a way to complain about it.
+ The most interesting part of this article to me, was the part that surfers are actually offended for the weirdest reasons. ookay.

*Pony sneaker brand seeks a return to its glory days. Pony has developed prototype models for a new shoe line the company plans to offer starting next year. Promotional materials from Pony’s heyday included ads with quarterback Dan Marino and other celebrity endorsers. It’s a trip how the headquarters is in downtown San Diego, just a few blocks from Petco Park. The new management team is plotting a comeback on their old school products, scheduled to ramp up early next year. Is it possible for a brand to do the same? The once hot sneaker brand that in its heyday counted Pele, Dan Marino and Muhammad Ali among its stable of celebrity endorsers. The Pony brand bounced around between owners since the late 1970s. I think it’s interesting that Pony has to go back to the old days to sell these kix♣♣♣

In the other half. such as sen.Joseph Biden want war against Iraq.I found this article very interesting because the major fact that all of this is true and this is something that alot of people are taking initiative on debating about. Also because it is a very important issue in this point of time. 1 important fact is that alot of people have different believes and opinions about this situation.everybody takes this issue differently.

GOOGLE’S WATCHING STREETS OF SAN DIEGO

Google Earth launched a new website addition to the now popular site. On Thursday, Google photographers panned out through San Diego to get street level photos for the nationwide website. The addition was called Street View, which gives the viewer a personal panoramic view of our region. Street View offers miles of images here and in New York, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Miami, Denver, L.A., Houston, and Orlando, Florida. So far, beaches, main roads, and highways have been photographed. Google plans to fill in more streets when they go back in the next few years to refresh the pictures. Officials say Street View has been very popular for the people who can take a walking tour with out leaving their computer. The Net is also excited about all the photographers that ran about the streets to collect those pictures.
I think this is really helping the people that are planning to go somewhere, giving them a chance to see their destination beforehand. I like this site also because I went on the site and found it has detailed photos that allow you to zoom in and out. I agree with the person that wrote this because he knows that this site is a success.
The Google search engine is favored by hundreds of millions of computer users worldwide.

This morning I read an article titled Visitors speak out to save lions. It was about members of indigenous ETHNIC GROUP LIVING IN KENYA AND TANZANIA. THEY HAVE COME TO THE SAN DIEGO WILD ANIMAL PARK TO SHARE THEIR CULTURE AND TALK ABOUT A PROGRAM THEY HAVE TO PRESERVE ENDANGERED SPECIES IN AFRICA. They have come to raise money for their fund and to raise awareness of the danger lions face in the wild. The group is living on the Wild Animal Park Property, having declined hotels. They are also doing sight seeing, including a recent trip to Disneyland.
