+ Crews prepare for final rescue effort at Utah mine
+ This morning I read an article in the Union Tribune on the six miners who were trapped inside the mine. Rescuers are still trying to find the six miners with boring a sixth hole down into Utah's Crandall Canyon mine Friday, and the search will stop if no signs of life are found. It is said that they will work on the sixth hole, which will go down into the area where the miners were known to be working when the mine collapsed on August 6. Bob Murray, CEO of Murray Energy said that he has already filed paperwork with federal regulators to permanently close and seal the Utah mine. The fifth hole would be tested for oxygen, and a camera may be lowered down the shaft, although the small amount of space may limit its usefulness. An effort to send rescuers through the collapsed mine tunnel to attempt an underground rescue was suspended last week, after a new cave-in killed three rescuers and injured six others. The news was a blow to the family members of the missing miners, who have been holding out hope for a miracle and criticized Murray for not at least trying the rescue capsule. Signs reading "Bring them home" and "Bob Murray keep your promise" were posted overnight at the rescuers' command post.
+ The story is really sad but if there are no signs of life in the mines then people need to face the facts.
-3 Teens Killed In Wreck With Train
-The article that I read today was about three teens. Three teens died late Wednesday after their car went through railroad crossing arms, collided with an Amtrak train and caught fire, deputies said. Harris County sheriff's deputies said the driver tried to cross in front of a passenger train along Beaumont Highway at C.E. King Parkway at about 11 p.m. this accident happened in Houston Texas. Investigators said the engineer sounded the train's horn and applied its emergency brakes, but was not able to avoid hitting the car. The three occupants in the vehicle, two Hispanic males and one Hispanic female, were found to have no signs of life here on the scene. Witnesses told detectives that the driver went to extreme measures to try to beat the train.
-This article is pretty sad. It made me realize the stupid things that I have done. I have also tried to beat the train and thankfully I have made. But now I know that it is better to just wait.
-One interesting thing that I learned is that According to witnesses, as well as the engineer on the train, the driver of the vehicle disregarded the railroad warnings and went through the railroad arms.
In today’s article I read about the soldiers being deployed to the war have been committing suicide because of all the pressure that they go through in the war. There were 99 suicides last year and nearly half of them were not even to there 25th birthday yet. But they cant find one direct causation. Think that’s dumb because of course the cause has to be the fact that they don’t want to go to war to kill other people. I have an uncle that I think are going to send him but I don’t know yet and he says that its really bad .

I DID IT!
Ruth LeFaive refused to believe being overweight was affecting her life. He realized that being happy truly meant being good inside and out. She began walking, hiking, and practicing yoga regularly and shed 52 pounds. She might have had a fondness for junkfood but Ruth stayed fit through high school thanks to dance classes and weighed about 135 lbs. She quit exercising in college and gained 20 lbs. After graduation, he weight continued to rise when she moved into her own apartment. After living alone for four years, she was up to 180. She now got her weight down to 128 and fells good about herself.
I like this story because she motivated heself and succeeded. She may have lost the weight she wanted but she will now need to keep it off if she wants to stay health. I think she will continue to take care of her body.
She is 34.
POLICE DOG ATTACKS POSTMAN
I read an article about a police dog that attacked a postman in Lebanon on Tuesday.
The dog bit the man in the face and in the neck and barely missed a vein.
The postman was trying to defend himself with his mail bag and his hands.he also had pepper spray but didn’t have time to use it.
The police said they would cover the postmans medical bills and suspend the dog from dutie.
The dog attacked a group of people at a ford dealership last year while he was of dutie but that was a whole different situation.
Luckey has stitches and will take a few days off to recover.
To me this means I will not get near a police dog and I don’t see why the dog atacked the postman.
I think that officers are not training the police dogs like they should.
The article that I read was titled clansman jailed in 1964 for the murder of two back teenagers. this article was about a man named James ford. This man was sentenced to jail for the murder of two African American teenagers . They were only 19 teen years old this sick bastard murdered these two guys and threw there body's in to the Mississippi river. they were abducted on may 2 1964. this man is barely being captured at the age of 72.charles Edwards a friend of James and also a clans man confessed to seeing this horrible tragedy occur . He was not sentenced to prosecution he receive immuniy.but James was sentenced to prosecution.
I think that James deserved what he was being sentenced to
I feel that he got what was coming to him
I cant believe how much racism there still is today.

AN EXTREMIST MAN IN TOKYO, JAPAN, VIDEOTAPED HIMSELF WHILE HE CUT OFF HIS PINKY AND SENT THE TAPE ALONG WITH THE PINKY TO THE JAPANESE RULING PARTY BECAUSE OF THE LIBERAL ATTITUDE OF THE PARTY. THE MAN WAS ARRESTED FOR THREATENING THEPARTY AND HE IS NOW DETAINED AT A FACILITY IN JAPAN. THE MAN WAS A MEMBER OF A ULTRA RIGHT WING GROUP. BECAUSE OF HIS BELIVES IN A STRONG AND HARSH GOVERNMENT HE PROTESTED IN SUCH AN EXTREME WAY.

Dean ruins trees central to Mayan life
In Uh-may Mexico thousands of Mayan Indians lost their homes as Hurricane Dean blew thru the Yucatan Peninsula. Their real wealth was their trees, which are now broken and all over the place. Mexican Mayan communities have survived centuries of oppressions. They say that no other hurricane has hit them so hard. The hurricane Dean ripped the roof of Israel Cruz Chan’s home. He demonstrated the flexibility of the Mayan villages on the Yucatan peninsula. After the hurricane he borrowed a ladder and started working on fixing his home. Israel Cruz said “if I just sit and wait until they help me, I’ll just die waiting.” The Mayan residents had simple requests for aid: a few sheets of roofing, drinking water and some food to help them pass by. I think that this is terrible what happened but no one could stop it. It is nature. I think it is incredible how simple they are. It his would have happened in the U.S they would not have such simple aid requests. I think that people in the U.S take things for granted. I like how simple this people are and hope they all get out of this ok.
